POLIO SURVIVORS OF WNY-NEWSLETTER SEPTEMBER 1996 Summer is over and we will resume our regular meetings on the third Wednesday of each month September through June beginning Wednesday September 18 at 7:15pm at St.Stephen's-Bethlehem United Church of Christ on Wehrle near Union. Yes, the church has kindly made their facilities available to us, providing us with a spacious and accessible place to meet, and we are grateful for their generosity. It is becoming noticeable that more and more of our members and readers are using their computers to learn more about the health concerns of polio survivors. We hope that placing our newsletter on line will be helpful, although we will mail a hard copy free to anyone on request. This writer will welcome e-mail comments or requests for info at aa364@freenet.Buffalo.edu The guest speaker at our Wednesday meeting will be Thomas Feron, an attorney at the law offices of Jeffrey Friedman, who specializes in Social Security disability law, a subject that has often been asked about at our meetings. We hope you can attend. It will be your opportunity to learn what your rights are, and what you can do if you have a complaint. There will be an opportunity to ask your questions. We also hope to elect officers for the next year. C. Donald O'Connor aa364@freenet.Buffalo.edu
