POLIO SURVIVORS SUPPORT GROUP OF WNY-DECEMBER 1994
Attending the November meeting were Bill Kroll, Joan Curley, Don
Rohring, Susie Foster, Gus and Jean Arndt, Bill and Barbara
Woodworth, Phyllis Kennedy, Pat Kennedy, Dave Hamilton, Dick and
Terry Bouquin, Nelson and Helen Bauer, David Hamilton, Jr. and
Henry Maciejewski. Taped presentations of Dr. Burk Jubelt, Dr.
Lauro Halstead, and Dr. Fred Maynard from the International 
Polio Conference at St. Louis earlier this year were heard and 
discussed. Thanks to John Davis for getting these tapes for us.
We hope to play additional tapes from the conference at a future
meeting.

Jona Curley reported on a TV show from canada, part of the Nature
of Things series, concerning Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. A motion
was made and passed to acquire a tape of that program for viewing
at a future meeting because of similaritis of symptoms between
CFS and Post-Polio Syndrome.

Treasurer Henry Maciejewski reported that we have $2374.92 in our
CD, $1770.41 in checking and $106.65 in the split club.

OILIDAY PARTY! The December meeting will be on Dec. 21-4 days
before Christmas 5:30 Correction: 6:30 p.m. NOTE THE EARLY START
TIME. At St. Stephen's-Bethlehem United Church of Christ on
Un on Wehrle, near Union. This will be our Christmas Party and
we hope you will come and share the festivities. We have many tasty contributionscontributions to the menu already-Roast Beef, baked Rigatoni in
tomato sauce, fruited salads, etc. If you're undecided about what
to bring, vall , call Gus Arndt at 652-0494.

have a conference at the Hyatt Hotel in Buffolo on February 3,
1995 Promoting the Independence of Older Americans through
Assistive Technology--An officially recognized White House 
Conference on aging event.
