Treasurer Henry Maciejewski reports that we have $2402.01 in the
CD, $1820.41 in the checking account, and $106.65 in the split
club. Henry has survived his hospital stay and is recovering well
after surgery. We all send him our best wishes and look forward to
seeing you at the March 15 meeting. We have missed you.

Our guest speaker for the March 15 meeting will be Steve Truesdale
who is the newly appointed director of the Erie County Office for
the Disabled. He will give us an overview of his plans and will
respond tho your questions. Don't miss this meeting!!

We meet on the third meeting Wednesday of every month (except 
July and August). If you have doubts about whether there will be

On March 31, April 7 & 15 PBS will broadcast a mini-series on
living with a disability--People in Motion. The 3-part features
are, Ways to Move, Ready to Live and Redesigning the Human Body,
Ed Roberts, a Polio survivor, will be featured.

Maximizing Your Psycholiogical and Physical Potential and under-
standing the late effects of polio will be the subjects at a 
Conference offered by theb NY Polio Group on April 2 from 1:30
pm to 4:30 pm at Workman's Circle Bldg., 45 E.33rd St. in
Manhattan. Clinical Psychologist Margaret Buckman, and Susan
Fish, MA-PT will be featured. Pre-regiustration is required.

Cohen?: The Neuroanatomy of Post-Polio Fatigue and Tne Neruro-
psychology of Post-Polio Fatigue, and they will be availanle
to read at the next meeting and later, on request.

The Federal Consumer Products Safety Commission has issued a 
warninmg to watch for erratic movement of electric wheelchairs
or scooters caused by electromagnetic interference from radio
waves. If this is noted, turn the machine off immediately.
If you have had the chair or scooter fotr a lonf time and not
noted this trouble, it will probably not occur. If you are buying
a new noe ask if it is rated as insulated against such inter-
ference.
